Why volunteer with us

Someone is diagnosed with lymphoma every 27 minutes and our mission is to make sure that no one has to face their lymphoma alone. We couldn’t do this without the support of our incredible volunteers and that’s why we would love you to take action with us and join our strong community of volunteers.

You may have had personal experience of lymphoma, want to share your skills, meet other people or help make a difference in your local community. Whatever your reason, the action you take will make a real impact to inform, support and connect people affected by lymphoma.
We are committed to providing the best possible volunteering experience for everyone so it’s important to us that you feel supported and recognised for the time you give.

As a Lymphoma Action volunteer you will;

  • Have the information, training and resources you need to carry out your role, including ongoing support from a named staff member.
  • Understand how your time is making a meaningful difference.
  • Be part of our volunteering community who are at the heart of our work.
  • Gain experience in a variety of skills and bring your own expertise and interests to the role.
  • Make new connections.

It is really helping my self-esteem and sense of purpose to know I am helping others.
