New guidelines on marginal zone lymphoma

New European guidelines give evidence-based recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of people with marginal zone lymphoma.

New guidelines have just been published by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) covering recommendations for the diagnosis, staging, treatment and follow-up of people with:

•    nodal marginal zone lymphoma
•    extranodal marginal zone lymphoma (also known as MALT lymphoma)
•    splenic marginal zone lymphoma.

The guidelines aim to make sure people with marginal zone lymphoma receive the best available care based on up-to-date evidence from clinical trials.
