COVID-19 vaccine information for people affected by lymphoma

The UK’s COVID-19 vaccination programme has now started following the UK approval of the first COVID-19 vaccine on the 2 December. The government recommends that people who are at higher risks of becoming seriously ill due to COVID-19 should have the vaccine when it is offered to them, which includes people affected by lymphoma.

The COVID-19 and lymphoma section on our website includes further information on the UK’s vaccination programme, including priority groups for vaccination. There are no particular safety concerns about the use of this vaccine for those who are extremely clinically vulnerable, including people with lowered immunity.

Until more information is known on whether vaccinations prevent the transmission of COVID-19, it is important that people follow the latest Government guidance in preventing the spread of the virus.
