Trial aim and background

The aim of this trial is to investigate whether there is a better way to monitor patients with long-term stable blood conditions. At the moment patients have to attend hospital clinics at regular intervals to keep an eye on their condition. In this study the participants will download an app which they can use to track their condition, view blood results and report any new symptoms.

Patients may be recruited to join focus groups, interviews, and user experience testing to help design the Ascelus app. Further patients will download the app to monitor their condition over 12 months.
