Dying Matters is running the #IRemember campaign to create a space for us to remember those close to us who have died.

In support of this year’s Dying Matters’ #IRemember campaign, we’d like to remind you that we are here to support you if someone you love has died of lymphoma.

The #IRemember campaign is run by Dying Matters to create a space for us to remember those close to us who have died, and to support people to have conversations about death and dying.

Dying Matters encourage people to talk openly about end of life, bereavement and grief. They hope that this will enable people to be well supported through such challenging times.

Grief is a natural response when someone close to you dies. Grief affects everyone differently and it’s important to give yourself time to recognise and process your feelings. One possible way to help with this is to set up a lasting online tribute space, individually, or with friends and family, to share thoughts, photos and memories of your loved one.

I want to support charities as a way of remembering my mum – I feel I need to have something tangible to remember her by. I wrote about ‘Finding myself’ and illustrating it with watercolours. I couldn’t think of a better way to explore the feelings about losing my mum and to celebrate her life.
