Blood Cancer Alliance

The Blood Cancer Alliance is a group of fifteen charities representing people living with blood cancer. The Alliance works to improve the experience and outcomes of blood cancer patients through effective engagement with policymakers and policy influencers.  

Cancer52

Cancer52 is a coalition of more than 80 cancer charities representing rare and less common cancers, which account for more than half of all cancer deaths in the UK. Current data shows that 46% of cancers diagnosed are rare and less common cancers, yet they account for 54% of cancer deaths. Cancer52 campaigns on issues and policies that impact on the rare and less common cancer community, including improving diagnosis, treatment and support. Keep up to date on Twitter @Cancer52org.

All-Party Parliamentary Group on Blood Cancer

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Blood Cancer (APPGBC) aims to raise awareness and promote the needs of blood cancer patients with Parliamentarians, government, NHS and charity stakeholders, and to create a forum for broader issues affecting blood cancer patients. It is chaired by Henry Smith MP and you can keep up to date on Twitter @APPGBloodCancer.

Patients Involved in NICE (PIN)

As a member of this coalition of more than 80 patient organisations, we seek to ensure that the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) puts patients, carers and patient groups at the centre of all of its work.

Make Blood Cancer Visible

Make Blood Cancer Visible is a UK campaign which aims to inform, educate and increase awareness of blood cancer. It runs in September every year and is sponsored by Janssen and supported by the blood cancer organisations Anthony Nolan, Bloodwise, CLL Support Association, CML Support, Leukaemia CARE, Lymphoma Action, MDS UK, Myeloma UK, and Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia (WM) UK.

Internationally

Lymphoma Coalition     

The Lymphoma Coalition is a global network of over 50 patient organisations, including Lymphoma Action, from 41 countries working together on advocacy initiatives and educational dissemination and support. Keep up to date on Twitter @knowyournodes  

European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC)
