Distance Aware Badge
As we continue to deal with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic we know that people affected by lymphoma are concerned about ensuring they stay safe when outside their homes and so we have produced a ‘distance aware badge’ for people to wear to act as a reminder to everyone to social distance when possible.

The Distance Aware Campaign was initially launched by NHS Wales and the Department for Health and Social Care and UK Government are now also formally backing the initiative. It is hoped that through charities such as Lymphoma Action, the distance aware shield will become the recognised symbol across the UK for those people who wish to have a safe distance maintained when they are out. The badge supports carers and those who are generally anxious, as well as those shielding due to health issues.
We have put together a ‘distance aware pack’ which includes two button badges and four stickers. The packs are free to order (please complete the form below) however, if you are able, we would really appreciate it if you could text SHIELD to 70331 to make a £3 donation towards our costs to produce and post out these badges. Unfortunately we can only post the packs to addresses within the UK (including Isle of Man and the Channel Islands).
We have also created a downloadable poster to remind people to be distance aware and keep others safe, which can be displayed in your window; in the office or in a shop / restaurant window. Download your distance aware poster here
