September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and will also see the return of our popular Bridges of Britain walk! Everyone is invited to take part on Sunday 26 September to help support our work. Taking part is simple - just walk your own 7-mile route crossing your local bridges and ask your friends and family to sponsor you to take part. You can go at your own pace – meaning it is your walk, your way!
Sarah Thorn, Community and Partnerships Manager at Lymphoma Action said: “we are all excited about the return of our Bridges of Britain walk, and this year we want to make it bigger and better! Our 2020 walk was an amazing day, with 117 walkers across the UK raising over £34,000 to support people affected by lymphoma. We are asking everyone to join #TeamLymphoma during our 35 anniversary year and help us raise even more funds and awareness about lymphoma as the UK’s fifth most common cancer.”
