35 years!

2021 was a special year for Lymphoma Action as we marked our 35 year anniversary!

We are proud to have been making a difference for over 35 years, so that nobody has to face lymphoma alone.

Highlights from our 35 year anniversary

Living with lymphoma not only affects physical health, but it can also impact on emotional and mental wellbeing. Throughout 2021 we had a special focus on positive mental wellbeing as this reflects everything we do to support people affected by lymphoma. Below are just a few of our highlights.

... provided emotional support

In 2021, our helpline service had over 1,600 interactions, through phone, live chat and email. The service provides emotional support to anyone affected by lymphoma.

... grew our Facebook support group

Being part of the group has many benefits from feeling understood and acknowledged; to having a social connection and getting tips on how to cope with living with and beyond lymphoma.

… held 10 online coffee mornings/meet ups

To help keep people connected and improve mental wellbeing we held 7 online coffee mornings with members of our closed Facebook support group and 3 online meet-ups with our volunteers.

Congratulations on your 35th Anniversary and for all the help and advice you have given to all of us over those years.
