Well done to our Bridges of Britain walkers!

A huge thank you to all the walkers who took part in our Bridges of Britain event over the weekend.

This Sunday (22 May) marked the return of our flagship walking event Bridges of Britain. We were thrilled to see so many families and friends out in force to raise awareness and funds to support our work. A great number joined the Lymphoma Action team in London to walk across 10 iconic bridges, starting at Vauxhall Bridge before criss-crossing the Thames and finishing at the stunning Tower Bridge.

165 people took part in London and a further 29 are walking their own routes throughout this month. “Lymphoma Action would like to say a big well done to everyone who took part in London on Sunday. It was lovely to meet the wonderful walkers and hear their personal stories and the connection they have to our charity. Good luck to those who are yet to take on their own route in their local areas!” says Sarah Thorne, Community & Partnerships Manager at Lymphoma Action.

The total raised so far stands at £12,000, which will make such a difference to those affected by lymphoma.
