Volunteer Recognition Awards

Celebrating the achievements of our amazing volunteers.

Volunteer recognition award certificate

Last night saw the return of our annual Volunteer Recognition Event, an opportunity for us to thank our wonderful volunteer community for the extraordinary impact they make on the lives of people affected by lymphoma. Susan Daniels, a Trustee at Lymphoma Action, hosted the virtual ceremony and presented 40 awards for length of service, and 11 for outstanding contributions.

“I was very honoured to have the opportunity to host such a special event for the Charity and to recognise the commitment and tireless efforts of our volunteers,” says Susan. “It is only through them that Lymphoma Action can continue to fulfil their mission and support the lymphoma community in countless ways every year.”

Amongst the many highlights of the evening were commendations for volunteers who go above and beyond when supporting people affected by lymphoma. We also recognised those who have contributed to the development of our own services, such as our recently launched Preparing for Treatment Service. And we were delighted to award one of our volunteers for their twenty-five years of service!

“We want to congratulate all of our volunteers for their well-deserved awards,” says Sophie Duval, Volunteering Development Officer at Lymphoma Action. “The time, skills and expertise that they dedicate to us as a Charity is invaluable. They make so many of our services and activities possible, and we simply couldn’t do what we do without them.”
