60 million calls to helplines hero

Helplines Partnership has worked with hundreds of national and international helplines over the years. Today they have launched England's first-ever Helplines Awareness Day to help these services gain recognition.

Having a diagnosis of lymphoma can sometimes feel overwhelming. The Lymphoma Action helpline has supported thousands of people affected since the charity started in 1988. Whether you're concerned about symptoms, just been diagnosed, or you have been living with the condition for a while, you may have questions or concerns. It might be that you just want to talk things through with someone who understands. Perhaps you are a carer, family member or friend of someone with the condition, and you are looking for ways to help, as well as support for yourself.

If you would like to talk to someone on the phone, the helpline is confidential and caller-led; you can call us without giving your name, and you decide what you’d like to talk about. We don’t give advice and we don’t tell you what to do. It is your call and we’re here to listen and support you.

You can reach our helpline on 0808 808 5555, the number is freephone from both UK mobile and landlines and the helpline is open from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours, you can leave a message and we'll call you back. If English isn’t your first language, you can ask our helpline to speak to you in another language through Language Line. Access to this service is through the helpline on the number above.

If you would like to get in touch with us by email, please contact information@lymphoma-action.org.uk. We aim to get back to you within five working days. If you’d like a more urgent reply, contact us through the helpline or by Live Chat.

Our Live Chat instant messaging service is available through our website and allows you to chat to us in real-time. Live Chat is available 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, whenever you see the ‘Live Chat’ icon in the bottom right side of your browser window. Just click the icon and type to talk to us.
