Sunday 14 May saw the return of our flagship Bridges of London walk. Over 300 of our amazing supporters donned their walking shoes to join the Lymphoma Action team on a 7 mile walk across 10 iconic London Bridges, starting at Vauxhall Bridge and finishing at Tower Bridge. We were delighted to see so many of our supporters taking part in the event to raise funds and awareness about lymphoma.

“We are so grateful to everyone who took part in our Bridges of London walk”, says Amy Billington, Senior Fundraising Manager at Lymphoma Action. “It was a truly wonderful day, and so inspiring to hear the stories from our supporters on why they chose to take part.”

“We would also like to thank everyone who has taken part in Bridges of Britain so far by walking in their local areas, and to those who are still planning to take part” she adds. “The total raised from both our Bridges of London and Bridges of Britain walks stands at £54,288 so far, an amazing amount which will go such a long way in supporting the work we do for people affected by lymphoma.”

There is still time to join our Bridges of Britain walk! You can get involved at any time throughout the rest of May by choosing to walk your own route in an area of your choice. Just aim to cross at least one bridge on the way! Further details can be found here.
