Support groups

Anyone aged 18 or over, who is personally affected by lymphoma, including carers, is welcome to join a Lymphoma Action support group. Some are also open to people affected by other blood cancers.

The coronavirus pandemic means our face-to-face support groups can’t meet at present but our online support meetings can connect you with others affected by lymphoma, to share your experience and get support.

As yet, we are unable to give a date when support groups can start again but this won’t be until we are confident that a safe and supportive environment can be provided for everyone, and we know this will not be during 2021.

For this reason, we are not currently accepting new registrations for our support groups.  However, if you would like to register for an online support meeting, you will be automatically assigned to your nearest support group and we will contact you when groups are able to resume.

Online support meetings will continue after the pandemic, as they enable people who don't have a support group nearby to connect with others affected by lymphoma.

The current situation means that we are not accepting applications for the volunteer Support Group Facilitator role at the moment.  However, you can apply for the Online Support Facilitator role and express your interest in the support group role, which will be kept on file until groups can resume.
