Volunteers from RD:IR give Lymphoma Action offices a face lift.

RD:IR volunteering

A team of six volunteers from global investor relations consultancy RD:IR volunteered their time to paint the Lymphoma Action offices in Aylesbury this month. Paint was supplied by Seville Developments and Thrive Homes coordinated the project.

We are very grateful to all of these companies for their support!

Carly Benton, Lymphoma Action Volunteer Manager, commented:

"This amazing group of people arrived early in the morning and set to the task straightaway. I can’t believe how quickly and efficiently they worked and they had the ground floor, second floor and conference room all beautifully painted within about six hours. Our offices have looked tired for a long time, but spending money on painting hasn’t been a priority. Having refreshed offices is such a boost to all the staff and office volunteers at Lymphoma Action, and hopefully this should keep us going for another 12 years or so!"

It turned out to be a fun day at the office for our volunteers as well. RD:IR, who have chosen Lymphoma Action as their charity of the year, told us:

"We really enjoyed the experience; good fun and really good for team building. We are grateful to be given the opportunity to help a small charity in this way, saving them hundreds of pounds on decorators and allowing them to focus their time on continuing to provide support and advice to those affected by lymphoma."
