Our June Special Focus Support meeting is around CAR T-cell therapy, a type of treatment that uses cells from a person’s own immune system to fight lymphoma. This personalised treatment is used for some types of lymphoma that have come back (relapsed) or not responded after previous treatment.

Joining the session will be Clinical Nurse Specialist Kathryn Riley who will talking about CAR T-cell therapy and answer general questions about the treatment. This meeting is open to anyone who has had, or may have CAR T-cell therapy as part of their treatment for lymphoma.

Our Special Focus Support Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month and focus on a different lymphoma-related topic each time. Anyone affected by that particular topic in relation to their experience of lymphoma is welcome to attend, including carers. Further information on all of our Online Support Meetings can be found here.
