Published on: 22 February 2019

Football club QPR welcomed Emily - currently in treatment for lymphoma - and her brother and father to their training ground.

Emily, aged 19, was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in December 2018 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

To show his support for his sister, Alex has set himself the task of taking on 7 challenges in 7 months - raising funds for both Lymphoma Action and Teenage Cancer Trust. He has already shaved his hair off and will be running the Surrey half marathon in March - we are very grateful for his efforts that will help make sure that no one has to face lymphoma alone.

The Moppett family are life-long QPR fans so this was a dream come true and we were happy to help arrange this visit.– thank you QPR for showing your support. You can see more photos on the QPR website.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Lymphoma Action and QPR FC for organising for us to go to Harlington to meet the players and staff and watch them train. Oh what a day!

Can't thank QPR enough for all that you have done for myself and my family through this difficult time.
