World Mental Health Day 2022

Every year on October 10, the World Health Organisation (WHO) recognise World Mental Health Day. This year’s theme is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority’.

In the past, mental health has often not been talked about as much as physical health. World Mental Health Day happens every year with the aim of raising awareness and normalising the prioritisation of mental health. It might be difficult to recognise when you are struggling with how you are feeling, but there is support available to help you.

Living with lymphoma can affect your mental wellbeing, and you might feel a variety of emotions. This is a completely natural and normal response, and there are things you can do to help. 

Your medical team are there to look after your physical health, but they cannot see exactly how you feel inside. It is important that you keep them informed of how you are feeling so they can provide the right support for you. 

Whether you have a lymphoma diagnosis, or you are a relative, friend or carer to someone who has a diagnosis, speaking up about your mental health is crucial. Lymphoma Action are here to support you:
