New animation - What is lymphoma?

Published on: 14 October 2022

New animation launched to coincide with Health Literacy Month.

Health Literacy Month has been taking place every October for 20 years and is a time when hospitals, health centres and charities like Lymphoma Action take time to recognise the importance of making health information as easy as possible to understand.

To coincide with Health Literacy Month, we are delighted to launch a new animation which we believe will be a valuable resource for anyone affected by lymphoma. What is lymphoma? is a short animation that explains what lymphoma is, how it develops and the treatment options available.

Lymphoma is a complex condition and we often hear that people have never heard of it before they receive a diagnosis. We hope this short animation will help people understand lymphoma more clearly. In doing so, we hope that it will help people to make informed decisions and empower them to have conversations and ask questions about their condition.

We are grateful to Consultant Haematologists Professor Graham Collins and Dr Cathy Burton who worked with us to ensure the information contained in these animations is accurate.
