Our personal stories are a useful resource to connect and share information.

National Storytelling Week 2023 runs from January 28th to February 5th. Storytelling is the art of sharing information and engaging people. Stories can connect and inform us by making emotional links.

We have a wide range of personal stories from people affected by different types of lymphoma, sharing how they have coped and how they're living with and beyond lymphoma. Reading other people’s experiences can be reassuring and inspirational, and help you feel less alone.

Have you, or someone you love, been affected by lymphoma? Sharing your story could help others in a similar situation. Telling your own story can also help you process your lymphoma journey. Please get in touch if you’d like to share your story.

Reading about other people’s experience of lymphoma, like those on the Lymphoma Action website, really helped me. I wanted to share my story, but I wasn’t sure how much I should tell people or how much I should keep it to myself. I felt better being open.

Maddie, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2022 shares her story in the next issue of Lymphoma Matters magazine.
