It's #NationalStoryTellingWeek and we have just published a new edition of our storybook Tom has lymphoma, which is written specifically for parents and carers to read with their children.

Developed in collaboration with the charity CLIC Sargent, this book is designed to help children understand what lymphoma is and the treatment it involves. It follows the story of 10-year-old Tom who has lymphoma. It puts this complicated condition across in a simple way and the story covers Tom's tests and scans and through treatment.

We have more advice here about talking to children about cancer, as well as this video playlist which includes animations designed for children and personal stories from people who have been there.

Read more about lymphoma in children, teenagers and young adults - it is the most common cancer in teenagers and young adults (15 to 24 years old) and the third most common in childhood (0 to 14 years old).
