Lymphoma Action highly commended by the British Medical Association

We are delighted that our films about clinical trials have been highly commended by the British Medical Association (BMA) at their 2018 BMA Patient Information Awards. The BMA recognise that information is an important part of providing good health care, so established their Patient Information Awards in 1997 to encourage the production of patient information which is accessible, evidence-based and well-designed.
We produced this series of films about clinical trials, in conjunction with UCLH, to help people decide whether to participate in a clinical trial. The series of films explain why clinical trials are done, what they involve and how they are organised. The films give people information in a straightforward format, to help them decide whether taking part in a clinical trial is right for them.
The consumer health information expert who reviewed the films commented:
'I think this resource is really good; it is helpful to not just lymphoma patients/carers but is a good clear outline about clinical trials in general.'
