Let’s talk lymphoma!

Published on: 1 August 2023

With Blood Cancer Awareness Month coming up in September, we are counting down to our biggest month of the year!

Group of young women talking

We are excited to be launching our new Let’s talk lymphoma campaign in time for Blood Cancer Awareness Month which offers a host of ways that you can get involved to raise awareness about lymphoma and support our work. Perhaps you could become a Let’s talk champion and spread the word about Lymphoma Action and the ways you could support us at your school, workplace or social club? Or why not gather a team of friends, family or work colleagues to support our work through a challenge of your choice?  From planning your own walking, running or cycling challenge to inviting family and friends round for a coffee morning, afternoon tea or BBQ, there are plenty of ways to show your support for people affected by lymphoma. We are also holding two amazing walks for you to join this September and, for adrenalin junkies, we are hosting an incredible Zipwire challenge  -the fastest in the world!

Don’t forget that we are also here if you need to talk to someone about your experience of lymphoma. Our Helpline service provides support to anyone affected by a lymphoma diagnosis, including family, friends and carers. Throughout Blood Cancer Awareness Month, we will also be sharing inspiring stories from our supporters who want to raise awareness about lymphoma and help others who may find themselves in a similar situation to what they have experienced. If you would like to share your own story with us, then please do get in touch.

Let’s talk lymphoma together in September and shine a light on the UK’s most common blood cancer.
