On Friday 21 June, we are hosting a Regional Lymphoma Day at the Leonardo Hotel, Milton Keynes. There is still time for anyone affected by lymphoma to join us in hearing from medical experts and meeting others with similar experiences of the condition.

Joining the event will be Professor Graham Collins, Consultant Haematologist, who will give an overview of new and future treatments for lymphoma, and Chrissie Kirbie, a Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist who will talk about ways to manage lymphoma symptoms, and the importance of a healthy diet and exercise when living with lymphoma. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Lymphoma Action Volunteers who will share their lived experiences of lymphoma, including Penny who was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma in 2013.

“I am looking forward to sharing my experience, and tips and tricks that I have learnt along the way from Lymphoma Action’s Live your Life meetings that I help to facilitate” she says. “The Regional Lymphoma Day will be informative and uplifting, and a great opportunity to learn from experts and connect with other people in a similar situation.”

Our Regional Lymphoma Day is suitable for anyone affected by lymphoma, whether they have received a diagnosis themselves or are a family member, friend or carer of someone living with the condition. Tickets cost £20 per person (including lunch and refreshments) and prior booking is essential. For further information, or to book your place, please visit our Regional Lymphoma Days page.
