UK Lymphoma Radiotherapy Group (UKLRG) Annual Meeting 2019

With the arrival of protons in the UK, our guest speaker, Dr John Plastaras (Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at University of Pennsylvania), will discuss their role in lymphoma. The programme will also cover the latest results from clinical trials as pertinent to radiotherapy, update on trials in development and offer an opportunity to discuss new ideas for future studies. A review of recent developments in radiotherapy techniques and results from the national survey will also be reported. With popular demand there will be a session for clinical case discussions with audience participation.

The meeting is suitable for practicing clinical oncologists in the field of haematological malignancies, trainees, radiotherapy physicists, dosimetrists and radiotherapy radiographers with an interest in the subject.

UK Cutaneous Lymphoma Group (UKCLG) Annual Meeting 2019

The UK Cutaneous Lymphoma Group annual meeting runs in May each year, with the aim of providing a platform for all to meet, network, learn from expert speakers, and keep up to date with developments. This year the meeting will take place in Liverpool.

The UKCLG is primarily focused on providing clinical education, support and networking for clinicians of all kinds working with this patient group, and also supporting clinical trials and working with other groups to support patients affected by these rare tumours.  Membership is open to any UK or Ireland clinician, and consists of dermatologists, oncologists, haematologists, nurse specialists, histopathologists, clinician scientists, psychologists and allied members across the multi-disciplinary team needed to effectively treat this patient group.

Lymphoma Management Course 2019

Our sixth annual Lymphoma Management course is returning to Keble College Oxford, Monday 15 - Tuesday 16 July 2019. Our expert faculty of lymphoma specialists from across the UK will provide a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis, treatment and management of lymphomas. 

Completion of the course should equip participants in the following areas:
• The principles underpinning diagnostic and therapeutic modalities as applied to lymphoma in all its subtypes
• An understanding of practical considerations when prescribing immunochemotherapy and radiotherapy
• To apply the most appropriate diagnostic techniques and therapeutic interventions to individual patients with a lymphoma diagnosis
• A thorough training in material which may be covered in professional exams e.g. FRCPath
