Thank you to all nurses caring for people with lymphoma.

May 12 is the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. On this day every year we mark International Nurses Day, a worldwide celebration of the nursing profession. This year the theme is ‘The economic power of care’.

We would like to say a special thank you to all nurses who care for people with lymphoma. We regularly hear about the incredible difference that nurses make to people’s lives.

We also appreciate all the ways that nurses support the work we do to help us in our mission to make sure that no one faces lymphoma alone. We rely on nurses to help review and distribute our lymphoma information and to support our Live your Life self-management workshops. Nurses also generously give their time to discuss lymphoma topics on videos, webinars and podcasts that we host for our community.

Haematology nurses are the best, most caring nurses around! They understand what people with lymphoma are going through and will do whatever they can to help them through their chemotherapy.
