Lymphoma Action support groups offer a safe and confidential environment where people can share experiences, ask questions and help each other through living with and beyond lymphoma. Our support groups welcome anyone affected by lymphoma and other haematology cancers - whether someone has a diagnosis themselves or a family or friend is affected.
Last year 2,500 people received support from one of our 50 groups and we’ve been busy launching new support groups to inform, support and connect even more people:
- Chester le Street launched on Wednesday 15 August 2018
- Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick launch on Thursday 13 September 2018
- Preston relaunches on Tuesday 16 October 2018
We also have plans to launch groups in Darlington, Bradford, Taunton and Gwent over the coming months so watch this space!
Could you help us run a support group?
Many of our support groups are organised by our wonderful volunteers who help to bring people affected by lymphoma together. We are looking for volunteers to run support groups in the North West and South West of England so if you are interested read more about the role and then please complete this form.
If you’re not based in these locations but you’re interested in volunteering with us, please also complete the form and we can chat further about future opportunities in your area.
Together we can make sure no one faces their lymphoma alone.
