Published on: 28 September 2022Research study is seeking participants to help inform support.
Have you or a loved one undergone CAR T-cell therapy for blood cancer?
Huw Williams is a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student at Teesside University conducting a research project exploring people's experiences of receiving, or supporting someone who has received, CAR T-cell therapy and would like to hear about your experience of this treatment.
This would involve participating in an online interview for approximately 1 hour.
You are eligible to take part if you meet the following criteria:
- You are over the age of 18 AND have undergone CAR T-cell therapy for blood cancer and are a minimum of 8 weeks post-treatment.
OR - You are a loved one (family member or close friend who is an informal caregiver) to someone who has undergone CAR T-cell therapy.
Why take part?
Although you won’t benefit directly, your participation may help to inform psychosocial and familial support for those undergoing CAR T-cell therapy in the future.
If you are interested in taking part in this research, please email Huw Williams at V8123742@live.tees.ac.uk and he will provide you with further information.
