two cyclists racing to finish line on bikes

The London to Brighton Cycle Ride is an iconic challenging - but achievable. In order to maximise your enjoyment, you do need to train and get out on your bike before the ride!

Passing through quiet country lanes (once out of London!), travelling through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath before taking on the challenge that is Ditchling Beacon – a mile long climb to the top of the South Downs where you will be rewarded with amazing views of stunning south England. Then finally arriving at Brighton’s seafront for a well deserved ice cream, having completed a mighty 55 miles.

No need for satnav or looking at your map – the route is fully signposted so that you can keep your eyes on the road and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is the perfect challenge for solo riders looking to get in some extra miles, beginner cyclists taking on their first big challenge or corporate groups looking for a team cycle!
