Newly Diagnosed Programme
This four week programme is open to anyone who has recently received a diagnosis of lymphoma, of any type, including CLL. Meetings are held on the first four Tuesdays of the month at 3.30pm. Please allow an hour and 15 minutes for each meeting.
At these four support and information meetings, you'll meet others who have been diagnosed in the last few weeks and are in the early stages of coming to terms with finding out they have lymphoma and what it means for them.
Each meeting is structured around a different issue, with information and support from the facilitators, as well as time to share your experience with other participants.
At the end of the programme, you'll have the opportunity to join one of our regular monthly online support meetings according to your type of lymphoma and treatment.
If you'd like to register, please read the following information, then click the red button below.
- 'Newly diagnosed' means you have had a confirmed diagnosis of any type of lymphoma within the six weeks prior to registration.
- Registration is for all four weeks of the programme and participants should be available to attend every meeting. It is not possible to join a programme part way through, but you might be able to join the next one.
- To ensure all participants have the opportunity to share their experience and feelings, we limit the number on each programme to ten.
- Partners, family members and close friends (collectively known as 'carers') of someone who has received a diagnosis within the last six weeks are not eligible for this programme but are welcome to register for the Newly Diagnosed Programme for Carers or to join one of our Family, friends and carers online support meetings.
If you would like more information or to discuss whether the newly diagnosed programme is the right option for you, please email services.managers@lymphoma-action.org.uk.

Our support meetings provide a safe, confidential place where people affected by lymphoma can talk to each other about their experience, express their thoughts and feelings, gain insight from connecting with others, and get support and information. The facilitators will listen, seek to understand your experience and help address any questions or worries you might have.
Meetings are hosted on Zoom, but you don't need a Zoom account or experience of using Zoom. You will need access to an internet-enabled device with a working microphone, speaker and webcam to take part.
To register for any of our support meetings, you must be aged 18 or over, resident in the UK and personally affected by lymphoma.
