The Patient Partnership Index, developed and launched in 2020 by OVID Health, recognises best practice in partnerships between pharmaceutical, biotech or MedTech companies and patient groups. Our work with Kyowa Kirin on the development of an interactive Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) treatment centre map for healthcare professionals is one of five partnerships to have been recognised as meeting the GOLD Standard, which represents the highest quality and deepest partnerships between industry and patient groups.

Entries to the Patient Partnership Index are evaluated by an independent judging panel who were impressed with how our CTCL treatment centre map fills a big gap in information available to both GPs and patients.

Dallas Pounds, Director of Services at Lymphoma Action said: “We are delighted that our partnership with Kyowa Kirin has been recognised in this way. CTCL is a rare type of skin lymphoma that requires input from a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals from a number of specialisms. The aim of developing a treatment centre map, in conjunction with Kyowa Kirin, was to inform healthcare professionals on where specialist treatment for CTCL is available, and to support their patients with one of the many challenges that a diagnosis of a rare type of cancer can bring.”
