Updated book for family, friends and carers

Published on: 7 February 2024

The 2024 edition of our book, When someone close to you has lymphoma is now available.

When someone close to you has lymphoma cover

Living with and beyond lymphoma can bring physical, practical and emotional demands. We're here to support anyone affected whether it's you or someone close to you who's been diagnosed.

In our updated book, we give tips to help with some of the challenges you might face when someone close to you has lymphoma. You'll find quotes from others who have experience of caring for someone who has lymphoma and suggestions for where to get further support and information.

The book is split into the following sections:

  • Are you a carer?
  • Your feelings.
  • Your relationship with the person you care for.
  • Taking care of yourself.
  • Supporting the person who has lymphoma.
  • Information and support.

Although the carer can be just as affected by lymphoma as the person diagnosed, their support can be compariatively limited. We think it's a great idea to have a publication specifically for those who are supporting someone who has lymphoma. There's no doubt that such an honest and comprehensive guide could have made our experience easier.
