International Childhood Cancer Day 2024
Published on: 15 February 2024February 15 is International Childhood Cancer Day – a global campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer.
Created by Childhood Cancer International in 2002, International Childhood Cancer Day promotes a better understanding of the difficulties relevant to childhood cancer and highlights the need for more access to treatment. This year focuses on giving tribute to the children and young people with cancer and the impact it has on them, their families and the wider community.
In the UK, lymphoma is the third most common cancer in children. Around 160 children aged under 15 are diagnosed with lymphoma each year.
