Lymphoma Management at Worcester College

Lymphoma Management 2024 will be held at the Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre at Worcester College, Oxford. This page contains useful information about the college and the venue for anyone attending the event.

Worcester College is the perfect venue for Lymphoma Management. It is set amongst beautiful gardens on its 26-acre site, and is ideally placed for transport into and out of the city. The Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre is a purpose-built event venue with impressive green credentials.

Travelling to Worcester College

There is no parking available at the college, but Oxford boasts excellent transport links (buses, coaches and trains within a couple of minutes walk) and several 'Park and Ride' options.

The nearest bus and coach stops are close by at the Oxford Bus Station, Gloucester Green (OX1 2BU). 
The nearest Park and Ride's are Seacourt (stop D1) and Pear Tree (stop A1).

Accessibility

The venue is fully accessible, and there is a step-free route around and through the college site. (More information is available from the Porters' Lodge onsite.) Delegates are recommended to let us know on booking if they have any accessibility needs so that we can ensure correct information is given to them in advance. 

Wifi access

Complimentary wifi is available for delegates during the course.

College gardens and lake

The college is set in extensive gardens of 26-acres. You are welcome to enjoy the gardens during the course, including the bridge and weir (at the edge of the lake at the bottom of the gardens). However, please take care when walking around the lake as the water depth varies. Swimming in the lake is strictly prohibited.

Please note that the lawns in the Main Quad (above) are tended by a team of gardeners. Whilst you are encouraged to admire the lawns please ensure that you do not walk on them.

The Porters' Lodge

Located at the entrance to the college on Walton Street, the Porters' Lodge is the main information point within the college. If you need any help with the venue during the course please visit the Lodge, open all day and contactable on 01865 278 300.

Smoking

Please be aware that smoking is not permitted inside the college buildings. Please use the receptacles provided for cigarette ends.

Fire alarm

Please note that there will be a fire alarm test on Tuesday (between 9 and 9.40am, lasting about 15 seconds). You do not need to respond to this alarm. If you hear an alarm at any other time, please consider this to be a genuine alarm and evacuate the building. The staff team on site will inform you where to wait.
