In our latest podcast, Dr Manil Subesinghe, Clinical Lecuturer in PET Imaging and Honorary Consultant Radiologist, Kings College London and Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust talks to Lymphoma Action’s Anne Hook.

Dr Subesinghe explains about the different types of scans and when they are the right choice either for diagnosis, treatment or reviewing treatment outcomes in people with lymphoma. He describes each of the following types of scans and talks about when a radiologist would use:
•    Ultrasound scans and X-rays
•    CT scans
•    MRI scans
•    PET scans
•    PET/CT scans

By listening to the podcast you will also discover what the radiologist sees on the scans, the reporting that is carried out and how long it takes for the radiologist to report on a scan.

Listen to Manhil on our Lymphoma Voices podcast. It is also available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
