Our Bridges walks are back!

We’re excited for the return of Bridges of London on Sunday 19 May! Join #TeamLymphoma for our flagship walking event, starting at Vauxhall and finishing at Tower Bridge. Our seven mile-route crosses ten of London’s iconic bridges and gives everyone the opportunity to show their support for people affected by lymphoma by raising funds and awareness. 

If London is too far, then you can also take part in Bridges of Britain and walk your own route in your local area. Just try and cross at least one bridge during the month of May!

I took part in the Bridges of London walk two days after receiving chemotherapy. We had a wonderful time. The information and support my family and I have received from the Charity throughout this journey has been invaluable, particularly for my wife as she felt she was given the tools she needed to cope, and an understanding of what to expect.

This year we want to make our Bridges Walks even bigger to provide vital information and support to people affected by the UK’s fifth most common cancer. We are asking our walkers to raise £150 in sponsorship if they can. Every 26 minutes, a friend or loved one is diagnosed with lymphoma, and for every £150 we raise we can cover the cost of sending our information to 60 people who have just received a diagnosis of this type of blood cancer.
