Thank you for supporting us this Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

September was Blood Cancer Awareness Month and this year people from across the UK have been working exceptionally hard to raise awareness of lymphoma the UK’s fifth most common cancer. We were thrilled to see so many supporters taking the opportunity to shine a light on symptoms and raise funds to support our work.

Many of our volunteers generously shared their personal experiences of lymphoma on radio, in national magazines and local newspapers. We were so pleased to see stands displaying information about lymphoma appear in community venues and hospitals. There were so many posts on social media, sharing what lymphoma is; its signs and symptoms and how Lymphoma Action can inform, support and connect everyone affected.

All the stops were pulled out for fundraising. From crocheting, to baking, to walking, running and cycling, through to purple hair, gala dinners and auctions! So many people were busy ensuring that we can continue with our vital work.

To everyone who has contributed to Blood Cancer Awareness Month, we want to say a massive THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
