Crochet for Cancer
Get creative and raise vital awareness and funds by crafting and crocheting for cancer.
Crafting for Cancer
One of our marvellous supporters has put together a video to help inspire you to make some tin periwinkles for earrings and brooches.
Crochet for Cancer We’re calling on all budding knitters and crotchet enthusiasts to grab their favourite yarn and make a special periwinkle brooch. We have the purple periwinkle as our symbol of hope because part of the flower is used as an ingredient in some lymphoma treatments.
Ask your friends, family and colleagues to buy one of your brooches in return for a small donation to support people affected by lymphoma. We would love to see how you get on, so please share photos of your brilliant brooches with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have years of experience, use our free periwinkle patterns* to make this eye-catching design.
Together we can crochet for cancer to raise vital awareness of lymphoma and help people coping with a diagnosis.
If you’d like us to send you a pattern in the post, please email us at fundraising@lymphoma-action.org.uk.
*with grateful thanks to Lymphoma Lass for giving us permission to use her design and Esther Dijkstra for creating the video tutorial.
