Thank you - Emergency Appeal 2020

 

As for many others, the events of the past few months have had a big impact on us as a charity. Our Emergency Appeal was launched back in June 2020 as a means of safeguarding our front-line services during a time of unprecedented demand and a large drop in income.

Thanks to our supporters, our Helpline team have continued to offer vital support to people affected by lymphoma during a time of high anxiety and concern, and our regional team have been able to launch a number of online support meetings across the UK to ensure people affected by lymphoma remain informed, supported and connected at such a challenging time. We have also extended the reach of our nationwide Facebook support group, Lymphoma Action Support UK, which now has over 1,000 members!

Kind donations to our appeal also allow our Publications team to continue producing our information books and online resources, as well as reliable information about how COVID-19 might affect people living with a lymphoma diagnosis, and their treatment. Our Live your Life and volunteering programmes can also continue, both of which make a huge difference to people affected by lymphoma.

Although the past few months have been challenging, and no doubt there will be more challenges to come, we are truly grateful to those who have continued to support us. Your donations will help us continue our mission to make sure no one has to face lymphoma alone. This is truly appreciated by us and the people we support, so here is our heart felt thank you from us to you.
