Pledging our support for carers
Published on: 8 June 2020It's #CarersWeek and we're pledging our support for unpaid carers.
At Lymphoma Action our mission is to make sure no one faces lymphoma alone. We do this by supporting anyone affected by lymphoma, including family, friends and carers of individuals with lymphoma. A carer is someone who looks after a family member or a friend and is not paid for it.
We recognise the invaluable contribution and the huge value that carers bring to those living with lymphoma, and the ways they help improve the wellbeing of those they care for - physically, emotionally, socially and practically. We also recognise the impact it can have on them. We welcome carers to use our services and to know that we are here to support them.
This Carers Week, to recognise and celebrate carers, we're pledging our support for carers.
If you're caring for someone who has lymphoma, we're here for you. Check out our newly revised information on caring for someone who has lymphoma.
