This September, for the third year running, we asked you to join our Let’s talk lymphoma campaign and we are blown away by how many of you did!

  • 1,237 people came forward to talk about lymphoma with us, requesting our campaign packs to spread the word about lymphoma to family, friends and colleagues.
  • More than 80 hospitals came on board to organise awareness displays, and it was wonderful to see so many people taking our awareness packs to their local GP surgeries. Thanks to them, around 100 GP practices received our information about the symptoms of lymphoma to raise all important awareness about the UK’s most common type of blood cancer.
  • Many of our supporters linked us to schools, colleges and universities so that we could get the conversation started about lymphoma with young people, which is so important given that lymphoma is the most common cancer in teenagers and young adults.
  • Our amazing fundraising supporters have raised over £86,000 so far to support our work! Thank you to everyone who ran, cycled, walked and weightlifted in September, along with the army of people who baked, golfed, quizzed, and even manicured to show their support for people affected by lymphoma.
  • Over on social media, our symptoms information was shown over 290,000 times online.

We are so grateful to the many people who shared their experiences with lymphoma, whether that was through sharing their personal story for our website, with the press or on social media.

World Lymphoma Awareness Day on 15 September also saw our community spread the word about lymphoma on a global scale by sharing lymphoma stories, facts and support.

We were delighted to see so many people getting involved in raising awareness about lymphoma and funds to support our work.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us to talk lymphoma, so that no one has to face it alone.
