Micro-Volunteering Day 2025
Published on: 15 April 2025Join us in making a difference with just a little bit of your time!

Today, we’re celebrating the power of small actions that can lead to big impact. Whether you have five minutes or an hour, your involvement can help us spread awareness and support to those affected by lymphoma.
What is micro-volunteering?
It’s short, specific activities that are quick to start and complete, and will make a big difference to our work as we inform, support and connect people affected by lymphoma.
There’s no commitment and no sign-up process, which means you can take part at any time and at your own convenience.
Ways to get involved
We have many short activities you can take part in and they’re a great way of getting to know us better too. Here are some ideas to get you started:
- Watch and share our animations to help others understand lymphoma better.
- Engage with our social media posts and spread the word about what we do. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and Threads.
- Help raise awareness by distributing and displaying our posters, postcards and leaflets across your community. You can order promotional materials through our online shop.
- Share your thoughts. Read some of our web pages in the About lymphoma or Types of lymphoma sections of our website and leave feedback on the pages you have read using the ‘Send us your feedback’ button to the bottom left of the page.
- Give while you shop online at no extra cost to you by choosing Lymphoma Action as your chosen charity.
Our micro-volunteering page has even more activities that you can do from the comfort of your own home.
If you'd like to take part in more regular volunteering, why not have a look at our current opportunities? We're now recruiting for volunteers to help deliver our digital Life your Life workshops and to help facilitate our online Special Focus Meetings.
We’re so grateful for the support of our volunteers. No matter how much time you can give, if your action can reach one person then you’re making a difference!
