Thank you to everyone who took part in our Marvellous Makeathon competition - it was amazing to see your creations! We are delighted to announce that our winner was Barbara with her crochet woodpecker made in honour of her mum who has lymphoma.
While our competition is now closed we would still like to encourage you to unleash your creativity as part of our focus on positive mental wellbeing during 2021 for our 35th anniversary. Taking the time to do something creative can help your mental wellbeing - as well as being fun, slowing down and getting into a creative flow can help to reduce stress and anxiety.
Here are a few ideas:
- paint a picture
- bake a cake
- make some music
- write a poem
- knit a scarf
- build a bug hotel
- press some flowers and make a collage
- take some photographs
- get gardening - perhaps you could create a sensory herb garden, or a wildlife garden?
You might like to join our Marvellous Makeathon Facebook group to see what other people are getting up to! It's a lovely way to get inspired and connect with others.

Thank you so much for your support. With your help we can make sure no one has to face lymphoma alone.
