March Special Focus Support Meetings
Published on: 26 February 2025Our first Special Focus Support Meeting in March will focus on skin lymphoma, followed by our second meeting about active monitoring.

Our first Special Focus Support Meeting will take place online from 11am on Thursday 13 March and will focus on skin lymphoma. Joining us will be Claire Lusted, Cutaneous Lymphoma Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will talk about the challenges of skin lymphoma and ongoing practical management for the condition.
Our second Special Focus Support Meeting around active monitoring will take place on Tuesday 25 March. Join us online from 6.30pm to hear Clinical Nurse Specialist Sarah Collins talk about the role of active monitoring, also known as ‘watch and wait’ or ‘active surveillance’. This is when a person is given regular appointments with their medical team to check on their lymphoma until it needs treatment.
Both meetings will also offer the opportunity to ask general questions around their topic of focus, and to talk to others with similar experiences.

Our daytime Special Focus Support Meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of the month between 11am and 12pm, and our evening meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Anyone affected by that particular lymphoma-related topic is welcome to attend, including carers.
