Lymphoma Action welcomes new Treasurer
Published on: 11 February 2025We are pleased to welcome Melanie Brittain to our Board of Trustees.

Melanie has joined Lymphoma Action as Treasurer, bringing over 17 years of senior level financial experience. She is keen to share her professional skills to support our work, following her own treatment for primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma, a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2014. Melanie has also supported other people affected by lymphoma by volunteering with us.
“I am excited to be taking on the role of Treasurer for the Board at Lymphoma Action” she says. “It enables me to bring my skills and experience to support the Charity as it grows, and to say ‘thank you’ for the support I received following my lymphoma diagnosis. It’s so important that people are aware of the help and support that Lymphoma Action has available, so they know they are not alone as they go through treatment.”
“We are delighted to welcome Melanie to our Board of Trustees” adds Mark Harrison, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Lymphoma Action. “We are so grateful for all of Melanie’s support as a volunteer and are looking forward to continuing working with her in her new role as Treasurer. Melanie brings a wealth of experience to the Board, and a valuable personal insight into our services as we continue to develop the support we offer to people affected by lymphoma.”
