January Special Focus Support Meetings
Published on: 18 December 2024Our first Special Focus Meeting in 2025 will discuss fatigue, followed by our second meeting that will focus on diet and nutrition.
Our first Special Focus Meeting in January will take place online on Thursday 9 January at 11am and will focus on fatigue, a type of extreme tiredness that affects most people living with cancer. If you have lymphoma, you may be experiencing fatigue as part of the symptoms of your condition or as a side effect of treatment. Joining us for this session will be Emma Doherty from Macmillan who will talk about fatigue and answer any questions you may have. There will also be the opportunity to talk to others who have similar experiences and to share hints and tips for coping with fatigue.
Our second Special Focus Meeting on Tuesday 28 January will focus on diet and nutrition. Join us online from 6.30pm to hear Keith Fox from the Nutrition and Dietetic Department at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust talk about healthy eating, dietary myths and supplement use. The meeting will also provide the opportunity to meet others and share experiences.
Register now for our January Special Focus Meetings.
Our daytime Special Focus Support Meetings are usually held on the second Thursday of the month between 11am and 12pm, and our evening meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Anyone affected by that particular lymphoma-related topic is welcome to attend, including carers.
