‘Happy Volunteers’ Week from all of us at Lymphoma Action and a huge THANK YOU to all our incredible volunteers!

‘We simply couldn’t reach as many people as we do without the time and energy of our volunteers. Through them, we benefit from an incredible and diverse range of skills and expertise, helping us to inform, support, and connect thousands of people affected by lymphoma.

‘As well as a brand new name and look for the charity, my role is also new. I joined in April to focus on developing volunteering across the charity. I’m extremely excited to be working on enhancing our volunteer experience and encouraging people to join Lymphoma Action’s valued volunteer community.  I’m also eager to meet as many of our current volunteers as possible!

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life - volunteering really is for all!

‘We’re committed to making volunteering with us a fulfilling and rewarding experience and involving staff and volunteers in the development of our volunteering programme. I want to ensure we are supporting and recognising all of our valued volunteers, as well as developing new opportunities for people to get involved.

‘It’s for this reason we’ve launched our Volunteer Experience Survey. If you currently volunteer with us, we’d love to know what you enjoy about your involvement with us and what we can do to improve the experience.

‘The survey, which takes about 15 minutes to complete, is anonymous and the results will help us provide a quality experience for all our volunteers – current and new.'
