Why volunteer with us

Someone is diagnosed with lymphoma every 27 minutes and our mission is to make sure that no one has to face lymphoma alone. We couldn’t do this without the support of our incredible volunteers and that’s why we would love you to take action with us and join our community of volunteers.

You may have had personal experience of lymphoma, want to share your skills, meet other people or help make a difference in your local community. Whatever your reason, the action you take will make a real impact to inform, support and connect people affected by lymphoma.

Our volunteers have been sharing why they got involved and how they're helping others - watch our video below and read some of their personal stories.

As a Lymphoma Action volunteer you will;

  • Have the information, training and resources you need to carry out your role, including ongoing support from a named staff member.
  • Understand how your time is making a meaningful difference.
  • Be part of our volunteering community who are at the heart of our work.
  • Gain experience in a variety of skills and bring your own expertise and interests to the role.
  • Make new connections.

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, communities and experiences and strive to have diverse representation within our volunteer community. We will make you to feel welcome and respected as we work together to make sure no one faces lymphoma alone.

Simply knowing that my time as a volunteer is helping others allows me to lead a more fulfilled life.
