Meeting dates and time
We meet in the evenings, from 7.30 to 9pm.
Please see below for our meeting dates and other useful information about the group.
If you haven't been to the group before, it's advisable to call the Cherry Lodge Cancer Centre on 0208 441 7000, on the day of the meeting, to confirm it is going ahead, as we sometimes have to make alternative arrangements.
Going to a meeting
Anyone affected by lymphoma can attend a Lymphoma Action support group - you'll be made very welcome whether you have a diagnosis yourself or are close to someone who has.
You don't have to book or even let us know beforehand that you are coming along, though it's best to phone Cherry Lodge to confirm the meeting is going ahead.
There is no charge for attending a Lymphoma Action support group, though donations help us to continue to provide local support.
At your first meeting, you will complete a registration form, which also enables us to keep in touch with you about future meetings. You can request other types of information, including our popular Lymphoma matters magazine, on the same form.
You can attend our support groups as often and for as long as you need - you aren't expected to come to every meeting and don't have to tell us if you won't be there. If you move on but then want to come back, perhaps because of a change to your lymphoma, that's fine, too.
Going to a lymphoma support group for the first time can feel like a big step. If you would like to talk to someone about it, you are welcome to call the Freephone helpline on 0808 808 5555 (Mon-Fri 10am-3pm) or email us at email@example.com
If you would like to speak with the Barnet support group organiser before going to a meeting, you can call Fiona Kiddle, Macmillan Cancer Information Nurse, on 020 8441 7000.
We usually meet at Cherry Lodge Cancer Care, 23 Union St, Barnet EN5 4HY. However, we sometimes have a social evening at a local pub, details of which are posted against the meeting date above.
