Lymphoma Matters

Our vision for volunteering

Our approach to volunteering is that through a supportive and empowering volunteer experience, our volunteers will make the greatest positive impact for people affected by lymphoma. We want you to feel welcome, valued and respected when volunteering with us.

Our focus is to create an open and safe environment where you can be yourself and feel a sense of belonging. We commit to involve and support our volunteers in the spirit of our charity values and ask that you reflect these values throughout your volunteering.

Interested in joining us?

We're here to answer any questions you may have about volunteering with Lymphoma Action. We match you with opportunities that work with the time you have available, the skills you’d like to share and what you would like to get out of your volunteering.

How volunteers support us

Our volunteers are at the heart of Lymphoma Action. They facilitate our workshops and support meetings, moderate our Facebook Support Group, review our health information, provide feedback for strategies and developments, raise awareness of common symptoms - and much more!

We've listed all the ways volunteers get involved, whether you're looking to join us and find a role that's right for you, or you want to understand how our incredible volunteer community support the Charity.

Learn about our roles

We're proud to say we're achievers of the Investing in Volunteers accreditation.

I love to volunteer as it gives me a sense of purpose and fulfilment. I feel I'm making a difference and most of all connecting people heart to heart.
